Yikes Bikes

Yikes Bikes
Individual bike riding instruction is given to children who are not yet riding their bikes or have limited skills. Taught by experienced OTA-Watertown therapists, these lessons are tailored to suit each child and may include a combination of activities within our clinic and direct practice on the bike. The number of sessions required depends on the child's skill level.

Interactive Metronome®
This computer-based technique improves planning, sequencing, and rhythmicity. This program is particularly recommended for individual 9 years or older who have subtle motor and attentional difficulties. It consists of three, one-hour sessions per week for a period of six to ten weeks. It is particularly recommended for those who have completed a course of sensory integration based intervention and need refinements and for those who excel in motor activities and seek further improvement. more info (pdf)

Listening Consultations
This clinical modality involves the use of specialized music to decrease auditory defensiveness and improve auditory discrimination, body awareness, and sequencing. Therapeutic Listening and The Listening Program are designed to be carried out on a daily basis at home with ongoing consultation. more info (pdf)

Craniosacral Therapy
This gentle, hands on intervention is designed to support the rhythmic flow of the cerebral spinal fluid throughout the craniosacral system (the area surrounding the brain and spinal cord). By maintaining a balance in this system, functions of the central nervous system such as reaction to sensations, emotional responses, and development of motor skills can be facilitated. more info (pdf)
